Virgin Atlantic Expands Network with New Routes to Saudi Arabia and Ghana

Virgin Atlantic is set to enhance its global presence by introducing two new routes to Saudi Arabia and Ghana. This expansion marks a significant development for the airline as it continues to broaden its network and offer more travel options to its customers.

New Route to Riyadh

Starting in the summer of 2025, Virgin Atlantic will commence daily flights from London Heathrow Airport (LHR) to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This new route represents a major milestone for the airline, as it will be the first time Virgin Atlantic operates flights to the Kingdom. Passengers can enjoy a comfortable and modern travel experience aboard the Airbus A330-900neo, which will serve these daily flights.

Return to Accra

Virgin Atlantic will also resume flights to Accra, Ghana, after a 12-year hiatus. This route will cater to the increasing demand for travel between the UK and Ghana, particularly within the Ghanaian diaspora.Virgin Atlantic will operate daily flights to Kotoka International Airport (ACC) using Boeing 787s, ensuring high comfort and efficiency.
