OnePlus 13 Launching October 31: Price Leaked Ahead of Event

OnePlus is set to unveil its new flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 13, on October 31st in China. The company has been gradually sharing details about the device, including revealing its official design in anticipation of the launch.

Ahead of the release, pricing information for the Chinese version has been leaked, indicating that the OnePlus 13 will be priced at approximately 4699 Yuan (around $659). This represents an increase of 400 Yuan (about $56) compared to the OnePlus 12. However, OnePlus is expected to offer launch discounts and promotions to help mitigate the higher cost for consumers.

Performance Specifications

The OnePlus 13 will feature the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, paired with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. This powerful combination is anticipated to deliver impressive performance, as evidenced by the device scoring 3,094,447 points on the AnTuTu benchmark. To enhance thermal management, the phone will incorporate the second-generation Tiangong Cooling System Pro, along with several custom software features, including the Tidal Engine, Aurora Engine, E-Sports Independent Graphics Engine, and an AI Acceleration Solution, all aimed at improving performance and user experience.

Design and Colors

In terms of design, the OnePlus 13 will be available in three color options: White Dew Morning Light, Blues Hour, and Obsidian Secret Realm. The smartphone will boast a sleek, premium build with a curved display, emphasizing aesthetics and functionality.

Camera Capabilities

The camera setup will include a 50MP main sensor as part of a triple-camera system. While specifics about the other sensors remain limited, features such as optical image stabilization and night mode are expected to enhance photography capabilities.

Software and User Interface

On the software front, the OnePlus 13 will run on ColorOS 15, based on Android 15. Meanwhile, the global variant is set to debut with OxygenOS 15, which will be announced on October 24th.
